WILMORE, Ky.-- The Asbury University women's soccer team drew a 0-0 tie with West Virginia Tech on Thursday evening as they opened up River States Conference play at home.

Asbury moves to 0-2-1 on the year and begins the conference stretch 0-0-1.

* AU did a nice job spreading the ball around the field offensively as they posted 17 shots throughout the game.
* AU out-shot WVUT by 9 in the first half.
* Jordan Holt had 5 shots total with 3 on goal, and led the Eagles in most shots.
* WVUT Brittany Dye led her team in most shots, by having 3.
* Genevieve Hill and Delaney Long both recorded 3 shots.
* Asbury's Defense also held off WVUT and their 8 shots.
