FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Asbury University men's golf team finished up round two play at the Frankfort Country Club on Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles moved up one spot in the team standings from seventh into sixth after day two.

AU as a team shot 622 for the tournament, but were only six strokes back from third place.

Victor Vargas lead AU with a score of 150, shooting a 75 on both days. He finished in 7th place overall on the leaderboard.

Gavin Smith recorded a 20th place finish for the Invitational as he shot a 154, with a score of 77 in rounds one and two.

Ben Campbell tallied a 156 score for tournament and finished in 30th.

Marcos Ezcurra shot a 163 and Jose Bustingorri collected a 166 to round out the top five scores for Asbury.

The Eagles will return to play on April 15 in the River States Conference Championship in Florence, Ind.
