Women's Hoops Blows Past Oakland City 113-76

OAKLAND CITY, Ind. -- Asbury took care of business against Oakland City on Friday night, winning decisively 113-76. The 9-1 Eagles have won four straight, and outscored their opponents by at least 28 points in each of the last three. After the win in Oakland City, Indiana, the Eagles remain undefeated on the road.

The Eagles dominated early, coming out ahead 23-9 after the first quarter and never looking back. Asbury put up more than 30 points in back-to-back periods, and closed out the game without ever falling behind.

Kelsey Johnson scored 28 points in the monumental win, which was a team-high. Jaclynn Ruble added another 19 points.

Autumn Herriford recorded twelve points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Herriford led the team in rebounds, while Sarah Dennison led the team in assists with 11 and steals with five.

Sarah King had 10 points with a team-leading eight assists.
 
Zaria Napier also joined the double-digits club with 11 points and seven rebounds.
 
Amie Conley scored nine points on the day, Faith Osborne scored seven, Nave Winn scored six, and Haley Southerland scored five.

The Eagles take the court again at the Luce Center at 5:30 on Tuesday, November 26. The Eagles will open conference play with IU Kokomo.
