In 2022 AU went 3-14-1 with a key win on the road at Franklin College, 2-1. Coach Overton coached nine Asbury women's soccer members to be honored as NCCAA Scholar-Athletes for their strong performance in the classroom. Among those honored were Caroline AbsherCarlie Alvis, Madelyne Boehnlein, Rilen GettingsGenevieve HillMilli MooreIsabelle PetersonAudrey Van Lieu, and Maya Thomas

The 2021 season included six wins from the Coach Overton led Asbury women's soccer team. AU defeated Oakland City 4-3 in the National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) Mideast Region Championship for a spot int the NCCAA National Tournament. In 2020, AU posted an overall record of 11-6-1 and a conference record of 6-2-1. Asbury also had two Eagles win three RSC player of the week honors. 

In 2019, the Eagles had an overall record of 9-10-1 with a conference record of 7-2-1 and won the RSC Regular Season title. 3 Eagles were honored as RSC players of the week. 

In 2018, AU won the RSC Conference Championship (2018) and a bid to the NAIA National Tournament for the third time in program history and earned an overall record of 11-8-1 with a conference record of 6-2-1. 

"Elyse is a gifted and energetic educator and leader," Mark Whitworth (VP for Intercollegiate Athletics) said. "She has a clear vision for guiding this program and has articulated a systematic approach to skill and player development which our student-athletes will benefit from greatly.”
