Coach Overton begins her third season with the Eagles in 2020-2021. Last year, AU had two RSC Offensive Players of the Week in Jordan Holt and Susannah Terrazas and one RSC Defensive Player of the Week in Carley Pyles. The Eagles also earned two RSC 1st team spots in Delaney Long and Elizabeth Sparks and two 2nd team spots with Jordan Holt and Susannah Terrazas. The Eagles also had twelve (12) RSC Scholar Athletes. In her first two seasons, Overton led the team to one RSC Conference Championship (2018) and a bid to the NAIA National Tournament for the third time in program history and earned the RSC Regular Season Champion title last season (2019).
Overton served in past seasons as an assistant coach for the Eagles. She played a vital role in helping the team tie the program record for most wins in a season (14) in 2017.
