2022 Women's Cross Country Roster
Biography
2022: Competed in seven cross country meets...picked right up where she left off last fall with a new Asbury school record in the 2 mile ladies race. Her time of (11:58.5) trimmed the previous mark of (12:11.8) set by Allison Lyon on this same course in 2017. Her effort was good for fourth place in the race, following a couple of University of the Cumberlands and a Centre athlete across the finish line...finished first in the Run with the Lions... recorded her second fastest 5K time as an Eagle getting 12
th place out of 356 runners in (19:09.2)... her skill was on display once again, finishing fifth out of 19 runners...paced the race with her fourth top five finish of the season in five meets, and her second first place victory. She passed Katy Falkenberg with a time of (19:18.19)  to become the fastest Asbury University runner ever on the AU home course, although her time was still nearly a minute behind the course record set by NAIA national champion Anna Shield of Point Park University in 2017 in the Chick-fil-A invitational...ran her fastest time ever by 12 seconds (18:26.6) solidifying her spot as the second fastest performer ever on the Asbury all-time list. She took fourth place out of 54 runners, earning NCCAA All-American honors for the second consecutive year.Â

2020: Placed second in her first 5k collegiate meet with an overall time of 20:44.60 at IU East Invite...recorded a fifth place finish at Rio Grande Invitational as an individual helping her team place third overall...set a new personal best at the Louisville Cross Country Classis (20:28.7)...finished fourth place (20:42.31) at the Chick-fil-A Invitational and placing 2nd as a team...11th overall in the RSC Championship...qualified to run in the NAIA Nationals and ran a 21:36.46 for a 289th place finish....received the RSC Newcomer of the Year award....ran the 1500 meter race in 5:34.17 seventh best in the school history.
