Eagles Sweep CCS Doubles Teams of the Week Honors

ATLANTA, Ga. --- On Tuesday afternoon, the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced its weekly awards, highlighting Malory WatkinsAriadna Zegarra, Ben Moore, and Andres Caceres as CCS Doubles Teams of the Week.

Watkins and Zegarra posted a 2-0 record at the No. 2 doubles position, picking up wins in both of AU's matches. The duo earned a 6-3 victory over Midway and followed with a 6-2 win against Covenant. Their results came during a 1-1 week for the Eagles, including a 5-2 team win over Covenant.

Moore and Caceres went undefeated at the No. 2 doubles position, which included a 5-2 win at Midway and a 4-3 victory over Covenant during AU's 2-0 week. The pair earned a 6-1 win against Midway before adding a 6-2 result over Covenant.
