The Eagles were held scoreless through the first five innings before breaking through in the sixth, but the Colonels used a four-run third and a six-run fifth to take control early and pull away late.

Centre opened the scoring in the third inning, capitalizing on multiple run-producing at-bats to build a 4-0 advantage. The Colonels then added six runs in the fifth, taking advantage of timely hits and free passes to extend the lead to 10-0.

The Eagles responded in the top of the sixth inning, scoring all three of their runs. Andrew Billington drove in the first run of the night, reaching on a single that plated Edison Burke. An error in the outfield allowed Billington to advance and score, followed by an RBI single from Aaron Beaman. Hayden Fisher capped the inning with a sacrifice fly to trim the deficit to 10-3.

Centre answered immediately in the bottom half of the inning with three more runs to extend the lead to 13-3, ultimately sealing the result.

Asbury finished with five hits on the night, with Billington, Beaman, Fisher, Levi Kelly, and Cam Weaver each recording a hit. Fisher and Beaman each drove in a run, while Billington added an RBI and scored once.

On the mound, Adam Campbell made the start for the Eagles, with Samuel Marshall, Sam Narron, Jacob Parker, and Baylor Hair all seeing relief appearances.

Centre was led offensively by Matthew Maggard, who recorded three hits and four RBIs, while Aaron Lopez added a triple and drove in two runs.
