The Eagles went 6-0 in regular season play to secure the Regular Season Title, and then won both matches in the tournament. AU swept No. 4 Belhaven on Friday morning and then took the doubles point and three singles matches to secure their ticket to the NCAA National Tournament.

STORY - QUOTE
"I think that our key has been that we are unified and that our coaches really trust us to play our game. We trust one another and support each other during every match. We're also very grateful for Asbury Athletics making it possible for us to train at Top Seed Tennis Club, that was so important in getting us here."
Ignacio Ardiles | Junior | Business Administration | Buenos Aires, Argentina

AU sophomore doubles duo Ben Moore and Andres Caceres took another doubles win in the match, going 6-2 in the No. 2 match over Piedmont. After the Lions earned a 6-3 win in No. 3 doubles, it was juniors Ignacio Ardiles and Franco Patino taking a tie-break victory in the No. 1 spot to secure the elusive doubles point, 7-6.

Moore, Ardiles, and Caceres each took singles wins to get Asbury to four total points and the CCS Championship. Moore went 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3, Ardiles 6-4, 6-0 at No. 4, and Caceres 6-4, 6-3 at No. 5.
