Abigail Moffat led the offensive charges for AU.
Elementary Education major
Emma Popplewell had a great day at the plate for the Eagles. Popplewell went 4-8 on the day adding three RBI and one run scored. In the fifth inning of game two Popplewell broke the tie, singling to right field scoring Moffat and
Daegan Flamm to take a 3-1 lead.
Equine Assisted Services major
Abigail Moffat was successful going 3-6 over the two games. Moffat added two runs scored and was walked once on the day.
"It felt so nice to finally be back out on the field with this team. Our defense killed it and I'm excited for the rest of this season!"

* Daegan Flamm got the Eagles on the board early with a 2 RBI double in the second inning, scoring Sami Bottom and Moira Tinsley.
* Emma Popplewell scored Kaitlyn Wilson on a double in the third to extend to a 3-0 lead.
* Emily Zink followed Popplewell with an RBI of her own making it a 4-0 margin.
* Josie Deatherage secured her complete game in the seventh after a SAC bunt, fielder's choice, and a runner caught stealing by Emma Popplewell
Game Two | ASBURY 3, MIDWAY 2
* Natalie Ison opened the game in the first with a RBI single, scoring Abigail Moffat.
* Emma Popplewell broke things open in the fifth with a 2 RBI single, taking the lead to 3-1.
* Kaylee Strunk shut things down to finish her complete game in the seventh after the first two batters reached.
* Strunk retired the next three to finish a 3-2 win.
* AU only committed two errors on the day.
* Asbury collected 15 hits through both games.
* The Eagles scored first in each game.
