KISSIMMEE, Fl.--- The No. 4 Asbury women's soccer team (11-8-4) battled to a 2-2 draw against No. 8 Warner University (5-11-3) on Tuesday in its second pool play game of National Christain College Athletics Association (NCCAA) National Tournament.
Warner struck first in the 6th minute, capitalizing early to take a 1–0 lead. AU responded equalized in the 20th minute when junior exercise science major Maggie Perry pushed forward from the back line and buried the tying goal.
Just six minutes later, junior Anna Sparks put the Eagles in front, finishing a chance in the 26th minute to give the AU a 2–1 advantage.
Asbury's goalkeeper Peyton Steiniger anchored the AU defense with a strong performance, recording 10 saves, including eight after halftime.
Warner sustained pressure in the second half, outshooting AU 17–7 over the final 45 minutes. Warner found the equalizer in the 72nd minute to even the match at 2–2.

Sparks led the Eagles with four shots on goal, while Hannah Muncie and Perry each added one shot on goal.
