DEMOREST, Ga.--- The Asbury women' soccer team (9-6-3, 4-3-1 CCS) wrapped up its 2025 regular season on Sunday afternoon in Demorest, Ga., with a 1-0 road loss at Piedmont University (14-4, 6-2 CCS).
After a scoreless first half, Piedmont scored in the 61st minute to take a 1-0 lead. AU continued to push late, having five second-half shots, finishing with eight total shots, while Piedmont recorded 11 shots overall and having seven on goal.Â

Peyton Steiniger had six saves in the full 90 minutes.Â
AU matched Piedmont in corner kicks with three. The Eagles committed eight fouls compared to Piedmont's 18. The Lion's goalkeepers combined for one save.
One yellow card was given to Asbury Madison Andrews.Â
Asbury will compete in the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) tournament after finishing fifth in the conference, beginning on November 1.Â
