  • What does serving, training, and competing for the glory of God mean to you?

Being able to use the gifts that God gave me is a blessing. I am fortunate enough to be able to play this game that I love , and playing it at Asbury university where we play in his name is everything.

  • Who are some of the coaches, faculty and staff that have impacted you at AU?

Coach Shouse has taught me a lot about the game of basketball, but more importantly taught me life lessons. Also, Dr. Dan Lewis has had a huge impact on me. A selfless professor who truly wants the best for his students and tries his best to guide them in the direction of Jesus.

  • How have you grown spiritually during your time at Asbury?

Spending more time in the Bible , going to church more , and trying to serve others like Jesus would.

  • What advice would you give to new student-athletes coming to Asbury?

Come in with a open mind spiritually , work hard on the court/field , but remember this is bigger than the game you play; it’s all for the lord at the end of the day.

If we could duplicate Ben as a player, student, and teammate we would have the perfect example of the type of player we love . He has stepped into a leadership role this year and has high expectations of himself and the team
