  • What does serving, training, and competing for the glory of God mean to you?

Colossians 3:23 says,“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Since Jesus was victorious on the cross, so we, as Christ’s followers, are victorious. Therefore, we can live boldly and treat each moment as a gift.

  • Who are some of the coaches, faculty and staff that have impacted you at AU?

Mark Whitworth, Tiffany Horton, and Chad Mayes have all made an incredible impact on my life. They have invested in me athletically, spiritually, and professionally. I am beyond grateful for their love and guidance, and I don't know where I would be without each of them.

  • How have you grown spiritually during your time at Asbury?

During my time here at Asbury, the Lord has turned my world technicolor. He has come alive to me in ways that I never thought possible, and each day my heart aches more and more for those who don't know Him.

  • What advice would you give to new student-athletes coming to Asbury?

Have grace for yourself. Being a student-athlete at Asbury is so much fun but it can become a lot to manage. Just know you're not alone and it does get easier.

We're very excited for Riley to be highlighted as a Kessinger Lee Featured Student-athlete! She is consistently serving in a way that has a powerful impact on campus and in the community.
