CRAWFORDSVILLE, In..--- Graduate MBA student Ethan Cartwright and sophomore business administration major Quinn Nobles led Asbury baseball (13-13) with a three-hit game each on Saturday afternoon in Wabash, In., as the Eagles dropped game one (4-6) and took game two (5-4) against Wabash College in the first two games of a three-game series.

The Eagles' offense continued to excel with 21 hits on the day, 11 in game one and 10 in game two, taking their streak to seven games with double-digit hits. AU had four errors in game one and none in game two, as Wabash had 21 hits on the day as well.


"Jackson Cole came out strong and gave us a good chance in the first game, but we could not get it done. We didn't let up and Ryan Yates gave us another good start for game two. Robeson closed it out for us with his third save of the season and we took one, looking for game three tomorrow."

Game One | ASBURY 4, WABASH 6
* AU was held scoreless until scoring a run in the seventh and three in the top of the ninth
* Wabash scored two in the second and four in the seventh for their six runs
* Asbury's defense committed four errors, Wabash had zero
* Ethan Cartwright came out of the bullpen for a scoreless inning in the eighth
* Jackson Cole got the start for AU, going six innings with five earned runs and five strikeouts
* Asbury flied out with a runner on third in the ninth inning after scoring three runs in the inning
* AU had 11 hits, Wabash had 10

Game Two | ASBURY 5, WABASH 4
* Asbury's offense continued to produce, collecting 10 hits, Wabash had 11 (both teams had 21 each on the day
* Ryan Yates went 3.2 innings with three earned runs and a strikeout in the start for AU
* Jack Morris went 1.1 innings out of the bullpen for his second win
* AU took a 5-0 lead before Wabash scored the next four runs, finishing the game at 5-4
