Ariadna Zegarra led Asbury women's tennis (2-0) to a 6-3 win over Brevard College, while junior business admin. major
Alejandro Caceres led the AU men's team (1-2) to a powerful 9-0 sweep over Brevard on Thursday night in Brevard, N.C.
Ariadna Zegarra and
Martina Paillet pulled out an 8-7 win in the No. 1 doubles match, but AU fell in the other two doubles matches to start the day. Asbury responded by winning five of their six singles matches with Brevard, taking their 2024 record to 2-0.
Just two days after AU men's tennis battled with Centre College on Tuesday night, the Eagles clicked their way into a 9-0 win over Brevard College to head into spring break competition on a high note.

Ben Moore set th etone in the No. 3 and No. 1 singles matches, giving up only three points combined to the opponent.

The men's and women's tennis teams will travel to Hilton Head Island, S.C., for a full spring break week of matches, beginning with the University of Lynchburg on Monday at 2 pm.
