FRANKLIN, In.--- Asbury men's tennis (7-2) and women's tennis (8-0) traveled to Franklin, In., to take on Franklin College, and completed an overall sweep over the Bears, with the men's team and women's team each winning 9-0.
The Eagles have won their last 14 matches, and the Asbury women's tennis team remains undefeated at 8-0, with the men's team at 7-2.
In the No. 1 doubles spot,
Megan Moore and
Martina Paillet beat their opponents 8-1.
Fernanda Heredia and
Ariadna Zegarra shutout the Bears in the No. 2 spot, winning 8-0.
Ignacio Ardiles and
Franco Patino took down Franklin in the No. 1 doubles, 8-6. Freshman
Ben Moore took a singles victory against Franklin, 6-2 and 6-1.

Doubles matches were powered by AU women's tennis, taking all three matches.
Fernanda Heredia and
Ariadna Zegarra led the sweep with a shutout in the No. 2 spot.
In singles, AU took all six matches, led by
Martina Paillet winning the No. 2 match and
Megan Moore winning the No. 3 match.

AU men's tennis swept all of the doubles matches, aided by
Gregorio Bustingorri and
Alejandro Caceres battling in the No. 3 matchup, winning 8-6.
Asbury also went on to sweep the singles side, featuring
Alejo Britos grabbing the No. 6 match and
Franco Patino winning the No. 1 match.

* Andres Caceres and Ben Moore took a doubles win together and then each took their singles matches
* Fernanda Heredia took a doubles win (sweep) with Ariadna Zegarra and then Heredia took a big singles win

* Asbury sweeps Franklin, with the women staying undefeated at 8-0 and the men going 7-2

Both teams will travel to Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Ga., for a future Collegiate Conference of the South matchup on Friday at 3 PM
