HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C.--- Taking wins number seven and eight in a row in Hilton Head, S.C., Asbury men's tennis (5-2) and women's tennis (6-0) grabbed five tie-breaks to secure 7-2 and 6-3 wins over Gettysburg College on Thursday evening.
The Eagles stand at 8-0 overall on the week and the women's team stay undefeated on the season entering the final day in Hilton Head on Friday.

Asbury women's tennis took two of the three doubles matches with
Ariadna Zegarra and
Fernanda Heredia grabbing a key 8-6 doubles win over Gettysburg, backed up by
Kourtney Kawata and
Mikaela West winning 8-7 in No. 3 doubles.
AU won four of the six singles matches, led by wins from No. 1
Ariadna Zegarra in a tie-break, No. 3
Megan Moore, No. 5
Kourtney Kawata, and No. 6
Malory Watkins.

The Eagles men's tennis team grabbed two of the three doubles matches as well, powered by No. 1 singles duo
Ignacio Ardiles and
Franco Patino taking an 8-6 win. No. 3 doubles team
Alejandro Caceres and
Gregorio Bustingorri also grabbed a win, 8-5.
AU exceled in singles with five wins out of six matches, led by a No. 1 singles tie-break victory from Alejadnro Caceres.
Ben Moore and
Ignacio Ardiles also grabbed tie-break wins, while Andrew Caceres and
Ignacio Murillo took wins.

* Ariadna Zegarra won a No. 1 singles tie-break match and took the No. 2 doubles win with Fernanda Heredia

* Asbury tennis is now 8-0 overall on the week

Asbury will play Illinois Tech on Friday at 2 pm (EST) to complete the spring break week trip
