WILMORE, Ky.--- Freshman equine assisted science major Abigail Moffat had four hits while senior social work major Taylor Enlow had six RBIs to lead Asbury softball (6-6) to a comeback win over Anderson University (1-1), splitting the doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon in Wilmore, Ky.

After slipping in game one, 2-4, the Eagles climbed back from being down 0-4 to walk-off the game with an Abby Moffatt double in the bottom of the seventh, taking a 9-8 win in game two. 


* Abigail Moffat went 4-4 in game two with two doubles, two RBIs, three runs scored, a stolen base, and a walk
* Taylor Enlow had a season-high six RBIs in game two on two hits, including a bases-clearing triple and a run scored
* Natalie hit a two-run home run to right-center in game one
* Josie Deatherage pitched a complete game in game one with six strikeouts, and then came in for the top of the seventh in game to earn her fourth win
* Kaylee Korros came on to pitch two innings in game two with no earned runs and no free passes given
* Molly Buck pitched game one for Anderson with six strikeouts and three hits allowed, she also hit a home run in game two



Game One | ASBURY 2, ANDERSON 4
* Anderson's offense had 11 hits but the Asbury defense committed only one error to hold them to four runs
* Molly Buck held AU hitless until a bunt single from Samantha Bottom in the fifth
* Natalie Ison hit a two-run home run after an Emily Zink 12-pitch walk, to score Asbury's only two runs
* Josie Deatherage and Molly Buck each struck out six hitters, combining for 12 strikeouts
* AU had a runner on base in the seventh after Katelyn Bolin's pinch-hit single, but grounded out to end the game

Game Two | ASBURY 9, ANDERSON 8
* Anderson led 4-0 after the top of the third
* Taylor Enlow cleared the bases in the bottom of the third to tie the game at four with a triple to right-center
* Enlow had a sac fly in the fourth to score a run and a two-RBI single in the sixth to tie the game at 8-8, giving her six RBIs in four innings
* Josie Deatherage came out of the bullpen in the seventh to hold Anderson with a three-up-three-down inning
* Abigail Moffat hit a walk-off double to right-center in the seventh to score Emily Zink to win the game, 9-8


* AU moves to 6-6 after the doubleheader split
* Josie Deatherage moves to four wins on the sesaon
* Abigail Moffat had four hits and Taylor Enlow had six RBIs in game two
* The Eagles had double-digit hits in game two for the third time in four games

Asbury will play in the Transy Pioneer Classic this upcoming weekend, beginning against Transylvania on Friday at 11 am in Elizabethtown, Ky.
