Chick-Fil-A Featured Athletes | Sam Case and Carley Hinshaw
WILMORE, Ky.--- This week our featured Chick-Fil-A athletes are
Sam Case and
Carley Hinshaw. These two athletes highlight the six pillars of excellence that Asbury Athletics is about, and are standouts not only in their respective sports, but in the Asbury community as well.

What is your major?
I am a Sport Management major.
Why did you choose Asbury?
I chose Asbury because it was a place I felt God was calling me to as an opportunity to grow in many ways. Throughout my time here thus far, I have been able to grow a lot in my spiritual life. God has blessed me with a lot of great people here at Asbury who have helped me along my faith journey, and I am very thankful.
Career Aspirations:
Head Basketball Coach or Skills Trainer
What Do You Enjoy?:
I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing golf, and spending time with Jesus.
Favorite Bible Verse:
Philippians 4:6-7- "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

What is your major?
My major is Biology.
Why did you choose Asbury?
I chose Asbury originally because it was a Christian college, and it gave me opportunity to play basketball and get an education. However, I stayed at Asbury for what I found which was a family away from home through my friends, team, and community. I have been given opportunities to share the gospel and further my career aspirations surrounded by others who encourage and love; Asbury will always be a second home.
Career Aspirations:
Physician Assistant (PA) and use my career oversees.
What Do You Enjoy?:
Coaching and leading the younger generation, spending quality time with my friends and family, fun activities outside, and drinking Dr. Pepper
Favorite Bible Verse:
1 Corinthians 10:31, "So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."
