Shearer Records 21 Points and Career-High 10 Steals; Asbury Extends Winning Streak to Eight


STORY - THE ESSENTIALS
SWANANNOA, NC.--- Asbury women's basketball (15-7) captured a victory against Warren Wilson College (0-21) on Saturday afternoon, 81-51. Senior Elementary Education major, Trinity Shearer led all scorers with 21 points and added a career-high 10 steals in the win to help the team extend its winning streak to eight games.

STORY - TOP PERFORMERS
* Trinity Shearer led all scorers with 21 points (10-17 FG), career-high 10 steals, and five assists 
* Haleigh Releford scored 17 points (7-12 FG), recorded two steals and two rebounds
* Camryn Preston added 17 points (7-11 FG), seven rebounds, three blocks, and two steals
* Ma'Kiya West grabbed seven rebounds off the bench
* Warren Wilson was led by Tatyana Lewis who scored 18 points and grabbed nine rebounds
