OAKLAND CITY, In..--- After a three-game sweep over Rockford this past weekend Asbury baseball (3-2) traveled to Oakland City, In., for the second road midweek contest in two weeks. The Eagles fell 1-13 to the No. 4 ranked team in the NCCAA on Tuesday afternoon, Oakland City College (13-5).
Oakland City is a good team, but to get where we want to go, we're going to have to play teams like that. So, it was a good test early in the season. We'll get back to practice and prepare for a big series this weekend at home!
