WILMORE, Ky.--- Senior, Elementary Education major
Trinity Shearer broke Courtney Albin's single season steals record (86) during Friday night's Senior Night 81-24 victory over CU-Harrodsburg (1-16). The Eagles (18-7) end their regular season, riding an 11 game win streak in to postseason play.
Before the game Asbury honored 12 cheer, men's basketball, and women's basketball student-athletes for their time, commitment, and additions to Asbury Athletics. Cheer team members Taylor McGaugh and Addison Smith, men's basketball members Peyton Cody, Will O'Bryan, Caleb Wallis, Dakota Walden, Clayton Winter, and women's basketball members Sarah Goul,

Abigail Harris,
Spencer Harvey, and
Trinity Shearer were all honored.

Abigail Harris led all scorers with 17 points (7-11 FG) (3-3 3PT), three steals, and five rebounds

Trinity Shearer added 15 points, four steals, four rebounds, and three assists

Haleigh Releford scored 13 points (6-11 FG), had three steals, and grabbed five rebounds

Morgan Flannery had 12 points and five rebounds off the bench

Ma'Kiya West poured in nine points (4-5 FG), grabbed six boards, and dished out three assists
* The Pioneers were led by Carolina Gonzales with 10 points and eight rebounds

* AU shot 45% from the field and 29% from three.
* CU-Harrodsburg was held to 17% from the field and 11% beyond the arc.
* The Eagles scored 44 points in the paint and 33 points off turnover.
* Asbury's bench added 33 points.
* AU turned over the Pioneers 29 times leading to 18 steals.
* The Eagles won all four quarters throughout the game.
* Asbury out-rebounded CUH, 46-29.
* AU only committed eight turnovers.
* Out of the 33 Eagle baskets, 17 were asissted on.
* There were zero lead changes throughout the game.
* 11 of AU's 87 points were fast-break points.
* Asbury shot 7-12 FT (58%)
* The Eagles came out hot, scoring 25 points on 58% shooting (11-19 FG) in the first quarter

* The win completes a season sweep over the Pioneers.
* AU led for all 40 minutes of action.
* Asbury finishes the regular season on a 11 game win streak, and 7-2 in the Luce.

Trinity Shearer broke Courtney Albin's record for most steals in a women's basketball season (86), Shearer now sits at 90 steals on the year.
* All Eagles saw action in today's victory.
