WILMORE, Ky.--- Asbury seniors Jenna Davis and Ian Wang alongside sophomore Braden Vincent each took individual first place finishes in the Asbury men's and women's swimming return to their home pool on Friday night in Wilmore against Centre College.

The AU men's team climbed back to take a first place in the 200 freestyle relay, powered by Owen Seymour with a convincing anchor performance. Centre took the overall competition, 294-95. AU fell on the men's side 50-140 and 45-154 on the women's. 

"Meets like tonight are ones that I love the most. We've been beat up for the last two weeks, we've had illness hit the team, but we've continued to work hard and we got a little glimpse of what we're capable of. We competed hard, Centre is a tough, deep opponent…to be in as many races as we were tonight is a testament to our swimmers and the work and effort they bring each and every day. I'm incredibly proud of this group."

Asbury returns to their home pool on Saturday at noon for a matchup with the University of the Cumberlands, senior day festivities begin at 11:30 am.
