With an opportunity to move their winning streak to double-digits, Asbury baseball (15-10) welcomes UC-Clermont (16-9-1) to Wilmore, Ky., on Saturday afternoon for a doubleheader strarting at 1 pm.
AU has met the Cougars 18 times since 2009, trailing the series 8-10 overall. AU won the last meeting on May 1 of 2022, but UC-Clermont took the 2022 season series with two wins out of three.
Asbury's offense in their nine-game winning streak has been electric, using double-digit hits in all nine games. Quinn Nobles and Ethan Cartwright lead the way for the Eagles at the plate, Nobles hitting .423 (team-high) and Cartwright sitting at .407.
Clermont comes into Saturday's doubleheader with a three-game winning streak of their own, and a 16-9-1 record on the year. The Cougars are 11-3 at home and 5-6-1 on the road.
