Box Score
STORY - THE ESSENTIALS
CELINA, Oh.--- Seven runs in the final three innings for Asbury baseball (19-12) and nine strikeouts from Eli Wilder secured their comeback win over Wright State Lake Campus (WSU) to take game three of the series, 7-3.

Junior right-hander Eli Wilder gave one his best career starts, going 6.0 innings with nine strikeouts (career-high) and no earned runs. Caleb Poll came on in the seventh and pitched the final three innings with no runs and three strikeouts to grab his third win of the year, giving Wilder the no-decision.

Freshman brothers Sam and Andrew Billington were the only Eagles with multi-hit days, each going for two. Ethan Cartwright and Nathaniel Frank tied a team-high with two runs scored apiece, Kaden Dugle led in RBIs with two.

AU used nine hits in the final three innings after being no-hit through six, using a rain-delay break to their advantage to complete the comeback victory.

Three runs in the bottom of the fourth for WSU on two hits and three AU errors gave the Lakers a 3-0 lead they held for three innings.

WSU's starter Ethan Griffith went 3.1 innings of perfect work before Asbury's Andrew Billington put a single through the infield in the fourth. Griffith was through six with only one hit allowed and no runs before Asbury used Ethan Cartwright and Quinn Nobles singles in the seventh to score their first two runs of the game, 3-2.

AU continued the momentum in the eighth, going for four straight singles to knock Griffith out of the game and tie the game at 3-3. Kaden Dugle blasted a huge two-RBI double to right field to give AU their first lead of the day, 5-3.

AU added two more runs and junior left-hander Caleb Poll held WSU at three to give AU their 19th win of the season, 7-3.
