Asbury softball (8-22) heads to Frankfort, Ky., on Wednesday afternoon to compete in a doubleheader with the Kentucky State Thorobreds (11-21) beginning at 1pm.
The Eagles have faced the Thorobreds ten previous times since 2019 with AU winning three matchups. The teams' last competed in the 2022 season, splitting a doubleheader on Asbury's home turf in Wilmore, Ky.
Coming off of a split doubleheader against Shawnee State for the Eagles' senior day, AU will be looking to leaders Taylor Enlow and Olivia Judy to lead them to another win.
Junior Taylor Enlow currently sits at first in the entire NCCAA for doubles with 15 on the season, and holds the top ninth slugging percentage of .732.
Fellow captain, Olivia Judy sits tied for third in the NCCAA for fielding double plays, capturing six so far this season, and holds an impressive .981 fielding percentage.
