TeamAU Gameday Preview | Baseball and Softball Return Home for Midweek Matchups

STORY - THE ESSENTIALS
WILMORE, Ky. --- Today's gameday matchup previews are below:

Asbury vs. Hanover | 3/21/23 | 5 & 7 PM | Wilmore, Ky. | Softball

Asbury softball (5-15) returns home on Tuesday evening after four games this past weekend in Elizabethtown, Ky., where they faced four different Division III opponents. AU will meet up with another Division III opponent in Hanover College (5-13) for a doubleheader beginning at 5 pm at the Kirkland Complex.

The programs split their doubleheader in 2022 in their first ever meeting, Hanover hosting the contests. Hanover comes in at a 5-13 record with a key win on the weekend on Spalding University.

The Eagles defeated Anderson University on Friday evening, 2-1, in a game that was dominated by Kaylee Strunk, pitching a complete game with no earned runs allowed. Strunk has now thrown three wins for an Asbury team-high.

Junior Taylor Enlow currently sits at fourth in the entire NCCAA in doubles with 11 already on the season. Senior Olivia Judy had a hit in all of Asbury's four games over the weekend, coming into today's doubleheader with a .370 average.
