A day after Asbury women's hoops (17-11) came up short in round one of the NCCAA National Tournament, they will meet No. 6 seed Houghton University (17-10) on Thursday morning at 10:15 am. The two Division III programs will meet their first time, tipping off at Grace College in Winona Lake, In. 

Asbury led No. 2 seed College of the Ozarks on Wednesday at the half before they slipped in the third quart that saw Ozarks grab a comfortable lead. Houghton had a similar opening round as they led Grace after the first quarter, but then fell to a second quarter that Grace used to gain control.

AU and Houghton match up very well with both teams relying on their firm defenses. Houghton has allowed their opponents this year to averaging only 55.3 points per game. The Eagles have wreaked havoc defensively to see their opponents commit 602 turnovers.

The NCCAA Mideast Champion Asbury men's basketball team (19-7) are hunting their 20th win of the year in day two of the NCCAA National Tournament against No. 7 seed Trinity International (16-14). Tip-off will be right after the Asbury women's game in Winona Lake, In., as these two teams meet for the first time. 

Asbury led Clinton College by double-digits on Wednesday in the opening round before the No. 3 seed Golden Bears used a 49 point second half to move on. Trinity International fell on day one to Fort Lauderdale who exploded in the second half for 55 points on TIU.

Asbury Men's Tennis vs. Dickinson | 12:30 PM
Asbury Women's Tennis vs. Dickinson | 12:30 PM

Asbury tennis moves into day three of their spring break competition after the men's team (6-1) swept Concordia (Wisc.) on Tuesday and the women's team (1-3) slipped to Concordia (Wisc.) 2-7. 

AU will meet Dickson College on Thursday at 12:30 PM. The men's teams met in 2016 when AU topped Dickinson (2-3) in Hilton Head Island, 5-4. The Eagles have swept the entire sweep so far and will look to go 7-1 on the year. 

Asbury women's tennis faces Dickson (4-1) for the first ever meeting, looking for their first win of the week. Dickson fell to Concordia (Wisc.) on Monday but is coming off a win over Lake Forest College on Wednesday.
