WILMORE, Ky. --- Today's gameday matchup previews are below:
Asbury vs Alice Lloyd College | 2/25/23 | 4 PM | Wilmore, Ky. | Men's Basketball | NCCAA Regional Tournament Final
Coming off an impressive win against Kentucky Christian on Friday night, Asbury will stay home to host the NCCAA Regional Championship against Alice Lloyd College at 4 pm.
AU and ALC are long-time competitors, having seen each other 39 times throughout their history. Asbury has picked up 22 wins from those matchups over the years and fell 17 times. ALC has been a major foe for Asbury this season as two of AU's six losses came from ALC.
Asbury is looking to their leader Nick Fort to help bring them a championship title today. Fort is currently No. 2 in the NCCAA for scoring averaging 24.4 points per game and totaling 561 points for the season. Fort is a massive force under the rim and has 248 rebounds on the season, averaging 10.8 per game. Fort holds the No. 1 spot for rebounds in the NCCAA as well.
Other key players for Asbury include transfer Caleb Wallis who leads the team with 86 assists and is No. 6 in the NCCAA for assist/turnover ratio. Dakota Walden has been on fire on the court this week shooting over 70% in the field and 80% past the arc in Friday's game against KCU.
Today's game will be a fitting match-up for both teams as they are both eagerly looking to find the title.

Asbury vs. Manchester | 2/25/23 | 12 PM & 2 PM (Doubleheader) | Wilmore, Ky. | Softball
Coming off of a tough loss on Wednesday, Asbury softball will host Manchester University in Wilmore Ky., with a double-header at 12pm and 2pm.
The Manchester Spartans are unfamiliar opponents to the Eagles, and AU will be eager to earn a win for their program and begin to build a winning record over NCAA Division III opponent.
The Eagles will look to junior captain Taylor Enlow to contribute heavily in today's games.
In Asbury's most recent game, their home opener, Enlow was AU's biggest aid on the offensive side of things and contributed an RBI double in game one and a massive home run in game two. Enlow tallied six hits on the day with three doubles and a home run.
AU will also look to sophomore pitchers Josie Deatherage and Kaylee Strunk to to lead them on the mound.
In the second game of the Eagles' home opener, Josie Deatherage was huge on the mound for the Eagles with 115 pitches and six strikeouts, only allowing four hits.
Leading pitcher for the Eagles, Kaylee Strunk, has appeared in each of the eight games so far for AU, only allowing ten earned runs and a 2.96 ERA.

Asbury vs. Mount St. Joseph | 2/25/23 | 12 PM & 3:30 PM CST (Doubleheader) | Millington, Tn. | Baseball
Another doubleheader for Asbury (3-2) and MSJ (1-1) to complete their four game series starting at 12 pm (CST) on Saturday afternoon. AU took game one on Friday but then fell in game two to the Lions of MSJ.
The matchup is taking place at a neutral sight in Millington, Tn., at the USA Baseball Complex. Asbury will look for their offense to continue to lead the way in the two games today, seeking a series with with doubleheader sweep.
