WILMORE, Ky. --- Today's gameday matchup previews are below:

Asbury vs. Grove City | 2/18/23 | 12 PM & 4 PM (Doubleheader) | Wilmore, Ky. | Baseball

It's opening day in February as Asbury baseball (0-0) opens up their 2023 season on Saturday afternoon on their home field in Wilmore, Ky. The Eagles will matchup with Grove City College (1-0), a Division III program from Pennsylvania. The two teams have met once before, last season in a game that took 11 innings for AU to take the 4-3 win. 

Grove City has always got one win under their belt to start the year, defeating Penn State Greater Allegheny last Friday, 10-2. 

The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 12 pm, and game two will follow shortly after the ending of game one. Both games on the day will be nine inning contests. 

Asbury is coming off a 29-16 season where they took home the NCCAA Mideast Region champship. A solid group of returners and an exciting incoming class is read to get between the lines to keep the Asbury baseball momentum moving forward.

Asbury vs. Welch College | 2/18/23 | 2 PM | Wilmore, Ky.
Senior Day | Women's Basketball

Senior day is coming back to the Luce Center for the second consecutive Saturday as Asbury women's basketball (14-10) welcomes Welch College (13-16) for home game at 2 pm. Senior day festivities will begin at 1:50 pm. 

These two teams met once earlier this season in Gallatin, Tn., when AU took the road win at Welch, 89-75. AU had their second highest scoring game of the season with the 89 points put up. The Eagles scored 44 points in the third quarter to power their win.

Asbury sits at 14-10 as they head into their final regular season game of 2022-2023. AU will look to finish out the year strong at home as they look toward a strong postseason run.

Asbury vs. Denison University | 2/18/23 | 1 PM | Danville, Ky. | Men's Tennis    

After their second straight win for the spring season Asbury men's tennis (2-0) will travel to Danville, Ky., on Saturday afternoon to face Denison University (2-0). The two Division III programs have met once before, last season when AU fell to Denison in Granville, Oh. 

Asbury has been playing strong tennis so far this spring after the incredible fall season they put together. The weekend matchup with a talented Denison team will be a test for the Eagles after starting the season 2-0.

Asbury vs. Berea College | 2/18/23 | 3 & 5 PM (Doubleheader) | Wilmore, Ky. | Softball    

More home action for TeamAU on Saturday will include Asbury softball (1-5) hosting Berea College ( for a doubleheader beginning at 3 pm. 

The two programs have met up a total of 37 times in their history, Asbury leading the series 23-14. AU took both of last season's games that were both hosted at Berea. 

AU will look forward to their first competition on their home field this season as they have played their first six contests on the road.
