BEREA, Ky.--- Despite 46 first half points and five players scoring double-digits, Asbury men's basketball (7-2) fell 69-71 on Monday afternoon to Berea College (4-4) in Berea, Ky. AU led by 12 at the end of the first half after shooting 50% from the field on 18 FG, but Berea rallied back shooting 61% in the second half to complete the comeback on their home court.

Aden Slone scored his career-high at AU with 14, dished four assists, grabbing four rebounds, and two steals

Dakota Walden went 4-9 from the field and 4-4 from the line for 13 points, grabbing three rebounds as well

Ben McNew made four threes for 12 points with two boards and two assists
* Berea's Trey Minter scored 15 points on 6-10 shooting
* Asbury led 46-34 at the end of the first half after going 18-36 from the field with five threes and 5-5 shooting from the free-throw line
* Berea went 0-10 from the three-point line in the first half
* The AU offense scored 23 points in the second half, making 11 field goals, two from distance, and 3-3 from the line (8-8 in the game)
* Berea out-rebounded AU 38-33
* Asbury dished 17 assists, their fourth-most this season
* Berea shot 60% from the field in the second half, going 14-23 with two made threes
* Asbury had the ball in transition in the remaining seconds, Dakota Walden missed a three-pointer for the win that was rebounded by Berea to close the game
* AU had won the previous four matchups against Berea before the loss
* Clayton Winter now has three 15-rebound games this season with two double-doubles
Much deserved credit to Berea, they're a team that does not quit and has proven to come back and give themselves a chance to win games multiple times this season. It'll be great to get back to practice and work on some things, and I think we'll be ok once we get back to making stops defensively.
