DEMOREST, Ga.--- Asbury women's basketball (4-3) used a 22-point second quarter in which they outscored Piedmont (5-1) 22-11, to claim a 77-66 victory. The win took AU over .500 on the season and the team leaves Georgia a perfect 2-0 on the weekend.

Trinity Shearer lead the team with 16 points, four steals, and three assists

Morgan Flannery tallied 13 points (3-6 3PT), four steals, and nine rebounds

Camryn Preston helped score 14 points, five blocks, two blocks, four assists, and eight rebounds

Spencer Harvey scored nine points, five assists, and six rebounds
* This was the first time the two schools have met
* The two schools will be conference opponents starting next year (CCS)
* With the win, AU gets to over .500 with a 4-3 record
* The loss today was Piedmont's first of the season (5-1)
"We played well, but not as well as yesterday. Piedmont forced us into making some mental mistakes that were frustrating, but I loved the fact that we were able to play through those mistakes.
