GEORGETOWN, Ky.--- Asbury sophomore Riley McChord set another season-high in digs with 25 on Monday night at Georgetown College (10-21) as Asbury volleyball (9-13) fell to the Tigers in four sets.

McChord now has nine matches this season with 20 or more digs, backing up her 24-dig performance last week against Rio Grande. 

AU had 36 overall kills in the match with 24 errors while Georgetown had 49 kills with 15 errors. 

AU freshman Eve-Elyse Hall continued her productive play with 18 assists and eight digs on the night. Emma Grace Gray led the Eagles in kills with nine, also adding 11 digs. 

Macie Pack and Sidney Haysley each had seven kills, Haysley also serving three aces. Megan Walden had five kills and while McKenna had four and three aces. 

Pack hit at a .389 percentage in the match, taking her seven kills in only 18 attempts. 

Set-by-Set Recap 

Set One
Asbury came out strong with an early 10-6 lead in the first set. AU continued the lead to a 16-12 advantage before the Tigers answered with a key run to put them ahead 20-18. Georgetown went on to win the set, 25-21. 

Set Two
Georgetown took an early 10-8 lead in the second set and then moved further ahead at 17-13. The Tiger offense continued to strengthen throughout the second set, moving to a 25-18 win. 

Set Three
The Eagles start to the third set was their strongest of the night, going ahead 14-6 early into the set. Georgetown came all the way back to down one at 25-24, but AU scored three of the next four points to win the set. 

Set Four
In the fourth set Georgetown used a 6-1 run to take a 11-5 lead they didn't let up. The tigers took the set 25-17 to win the match. 

The Eagles move to 9-13 on the year with the loss at Georgetown.
