LOUISVILLE, Ky. --- Asbury Men's Basketball traveled to Boyce College in Louisville, Ky Tuesday to try to follow up their huge victory last Thursday against Alice Lloyd. AU had another impressive night as they came away with the road victory once again, 84-71. This marks the fourth straight win for the Eagles and their second this season over Boyce. 

Asbury came into this game clicking on all cylinders, scoring 56 points in first half and at one point having a 26 point lead. Boyce would fight back to make this a closer contest but AU proved strong enough to hold on. Asbury has not lost a game since Jan. 12, and they seem to have found their stride in the back half of this season.

* Nick Fort showed up again, leading AU in scoring with 20 pts

* Eric Powell was right behind Fort with 16 pts, knocking down 3 from distance

* John Shoulders produced 13 pts for AU in their strong offensive night

* Dakota Walden added another solid night for the Eagles providing 11 pts

* Asbury scored an incredible 56 points in the first half

* AU at one point led Boyce by 26

* Asbury's defense held Boyce to under 40 points in each half

Asbury will return to the Luce Center Wednesday night, Feb. 2 at 7 PM as they host Midway University.
