Asbury men's basketball opened up their 2022-2023 season on Tuesday night with a huge home win over Covenant College. AU will look to continue this momentum into their first road trip of the season, traveling to Lansing, Mi., for two games. The two games are a part of the William Westerlund Memorial Classic hosted by Great Lakes Christian College.
Asbury matches up this evening at 5 pm with Grace Christian University, a team they have split with in matchup history. AU topped Grace Christian two seasons ago at home with a 92-74 win, but fell in 2019 72-95. This matchup will split the 1-1 tie as the two teams match up in a neutral location for the first time in their head-to-head history.

Dakota Walden is coming off an opening night that saw him shoot 10-15 from the field and 3-5 from three for 29 points. The strong paint presences of
Nick Fort and Clayton Winter combined for 23 rebounds and 25 points on Tuesday and will plan to continue their work this weekend.
