WILMORE, Ky. --- Today's gameday matchup previews are below:


Asbury vs Maryville | 10/6/22 | 5PM | Women's Soccer
This evening, the women's soccer team will remain at home as they kick off against a past opponent, Maryville College (6-3-2), for a 5 pm match up. 

The last time these two teams met was just about a year ago on the Scots' home field. The Eagles led at halftime 2-0 with goals put away by Delaney Long and graduate Elizabeth Sparks with a span of 2 minutes between both goals. After the halftime buzzer, the Scots came out and answered the Eagles' goals by placing their own 2 goals in the back of the net within the first 10 minutes. Trailing just 4 minutes after the second goal, Sierra Lee gave Maryville an edge with another goal to make it 3-2. The Eagles couldn't find an answer as the Scots continued to score for the last goal of the match at the 76th minute.

The Eagles are looking for redemption this week as they uphold their 0.657% shots on goal percentage against the Scots 0.497% shots on goal percentage. The Eagles will be competing against the Scots' 2.70 average goals per game. Thinking more defensively, goalkeeper Maliya Crump looks to direct the defense with an average of 20 saves per match.


Asbury vs Midway | 10/6/22 | 7PM | Volleyball
The Asbury Eagles will host a home match against the Midway Eagles at 7 pm this evening.
Asbury has not had the opportunity to play a match on their home court for over two weeks now, and will be looking forward to hosting tonight's match surrounded by their fans and supporters.
AU has had one appearance against Midway already this season, where AU fell in the match, 0-3.
TeamAU will be looking to take the victory over Midway this evening, redeeming themselves from their most recent matchup.

Both teams are coming off of a loss, and will be eager to tally a win onto their season record.
Asbury currently holds an overall record of 4-10, as Midway possesses an 8-2 record.
