LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, GA.  – The Asbury University volleyball team was swept at Covenant College 3-0 on Tuesday evening in Lookout Mountain, Ga.

Covenant won the match 25-15, 25-17, 25-18. AU drops to 0-2 on the year with the loss.

AU posted a strong second set and held a hitting percentage of .152 which led to a lead for a majority of the set. However, the Scots would close the set on a 10-3 run to take a 2-0 lead.

Asbury battled back from an early hole in the third frame, but were unable to make the comeback attempt successful.

The Eagles recorded 25 kills for the match, while CC placed 37 kills with a .159 hitting percentage.
