Wilmore, Ky - The Asbury University men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Covenant on Tuesday evening.
Covenant took the lead with a goal scored in the 37th minute. Moments later, another goal was achieved due to a deflection off of a shot, allowing Covenant to take a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
Covenant would score again in the 65th minute to put the game away for good.
AU would be out-shot by a margin of 24-4.
Trey Miller had a strong performance with a season-high 13 saves in tonight's loss.
Nick Eller led the team in shots (2), Daniel Shelton and Zachary Robbins tacked on one shot apiece.
Asbury returns to action this Thursday at 5 PM CT in Pulaski, TN, against UT Southern.
