WILMORE, Ky. – The Asbury University men's soccer team fell 1-0 at home on Thursday evening in the River States Conference Championship Quarterfinals to Oakland City University.

The Mighty Oaks scored the lone goal of the contest in the 70^th minute off a free kick.

Asbury had multiple close chances late in the half but were ultimately unable to capitalize and tie up the game.

OCU outshot AU 17-9 as they placed 10 shots on-goal.

Sam Henderson tallied a team-best four shots, while Micah Schneider and Cade Good each collected two shots apiece.

Ethan Mayo logged nine saves at goalkeeper in the loss.

AU concludes the 2020-21 season with an overall record of 8-4-1.
