NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. – The Asbury University women's soccer team rolled past Midway 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon in Nicholasville.
The game was played at West Jessamine High School due to field conditions at Asbury.
AU improves to 8-5-1 on the year and scored a season-high in goal (7) on the day.

Genevieve Hill put the Eagles on the board with under 10 minutes left in the first half for a 1-0 lead.
Janelle Hibshman provided the assist on a great pass as Hill broke past the defense and found the back of the net.
*With a 1-0 lead, Asbury would put the game out of reach with a dominating effort in the final 45 minutes with six more goals.

Olivia Ruckriegel got the scoring started in the second half with a goal in the 57
th minute to extend the lead out to 2-0.
*Six minutes later,
Delaney Long scored from inside the box for a 3-0 advantage.
*In the final 20 minutes of play, Asbury did not take their foot off the gas as they scored four more times.
*Ruckriegel added her second goal of the day, followed by goals from
Cora Pack,
Maryah Jones, and
Hannah Pack.
