WILMORE, Ky - The Asbury women's basketball team rolled past IU Southeast 80-61 on Tuesday night at the Luce Center.
Top Performers:
* Autumn Herriford was a force to be reckoned with, scoring 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
* Paige Taylor with 13 points, 3-6 from the three-point line, and recorded eight rebounds.
* Jaclyn Ruble and Sarah Dennison both scored in the double digits and dished out assists.
Key Stats:
*Asbury bench was a significant component in the scoring column with 38 points.
*Despite getting out-rebounded 39-37, the Eagles held their own defensively, forcing 12 turnovers and holding IUSE to just 34 percent shooting.
*The Eagles pulled away from the Grenadiers in the third quarter and outscored IUSE 21-9.
*AU went from 15-35 from the three-point line and was more successful in hitting them than IUSE.
