LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Georgia - The Asbury University men's basketball team fell short with a lost 67-63 against Covenant on Saturday afternoon, as the Eagles began their 2021-2022 season.

*The Eagles were outscored in the first half but came back in the second half, outshooting the Scots, but it was too late to secure the win.
*In the second half, Asbury tied the game at 38-38 with a basket from Nick fort; minutes later, a jumper from Walden gives the Eagle the lead.
* The Eagles couldn't hold onto the lead after several missed shots while Covenant took the lead back.
*AU scored 14 points off of turnovers compared to Covenants' nine points.
