CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio - The Asbury women's soccer team secured a 4-1 road victory at Ohio Christian University Thursday evening. This marks AU's second win in its last three outings.
The Eagles scored within the first six minutes, taking the lead 1-0. OCU answered back to even the score 1-1 at the 24th minute of play. Shortly after OCU got on the scoreboard, the Eagles offense struck again to take a 2-1 halftime advantage.
In the second half, the AU offense continued to excel. A pass from Genevive Hill to Deidra Long extended the lead to 3-1. The Eagles' defense kept OCU scoreless for rest of the match, as AU recorded its final goal with a minute remaining to secure the win at 4-1.
Asbury women's soccer now holds a record of 3-7 on the season.

* Delaney Long secured the first goal early on into the match to put the Eagles on the scoreboard.
* Hannah Pack scored her second goal of the season, and the fourth goal of the match with a minute left in the game off of a cross.
* Carolina Absher led the team in shots with a total of five.

* AU outshot Ohio Christian by a margin of 11.
