WILMORE, Ky -The Asbury University women's soccer team picked up a victory on the road, coming off of a tough loss on Friday. With a 3-1 win against Huntingdon, AU advances to 4-9-1 on the season. 

Huntingdon was the first on the scoreboard with an unassisted goal at 33:29 minute. However, Asbury's offense wouldn't back down, recording a total of 13 shots. 

Highlights

• Huntingdon was the first to see the back of the net when they scored at the 33-minute mark. However, AU would answer back.
•  A quick, through ball from Delaney Long put Genevieve Hill behind Huntingdon's defense for a nice 20 yard shot and goal to tie up the match 1-1. 
• Not too long after, Delaney Long would find another through ball to Caroline Absher that would allow her to push a ball past the keeper and into the back of the net.
• Hill added her second goal off of a header to secure the win for the Eagles.

• Asbury controlled the game from start to finish outshooting HC 13-10
• Long tallied two assists and Caroline Absher recorded one in the contest. 
• Maliya Crump played all 90 minutes at goalkeeper and logged seven saves. 
• Hill finished with a season-high of two goals.

"Road trips are always an adventure and this one is no different. Coming off a tough loss on Friday, we had to bounce back quickly and focus on what needed to be done today. Overall, our defense was solid, but a small mistake gave Huntingdon a 1-0 lead in the middle of the first half. Our ladies gathered themselves, communicated the task, and continued moving the ball and working for each other. Overall, our ladies understood the necessity of a win today and executed play well."
