WILMORE, Ky. - The men's soccer team couldn't find a rhythm earlier this afternoon and fell to Oakland City 3-0. A very early goal and two unfortunate defensive mistakes were enough to seal the Eagles' fate as they honored the senior class of '22.

Pregame festivities involved the recognition of the 10 seniors of the team which included Dwayne Zapata (Shelbyville, KY), Andreas Hegseth (Louisville, KY), Zane Isaacs (Berea, KY), Trey Miller (Wilmore, KY), Zach Robbins (Fleming Island, FL), Dao Nhan Tran (Da Nang, Vietnam), Hugo Manjarrez (Sevierville, TN), Teni Onitiri (Lagos, Nigeria), Marlon Henriquez (Sevierville, TN), and Khalil Akiky (Orange Park, FL). 

"It was a tough match today. When you play good teams, you can't afford to be off on the day," Coach Ben Andrews stated. "Oakland City has a good side and we just couldn't create a rhythm. I thought two of the goals against us were extremely unfortunate. At the end of the day, I know we can perform better and we're looking forward to some time in between games to hit the training ground hard.
