PIPPA PASSES, Ky. – The Asbury University women's basketball team collected a 15-point road win at Alice Lloyd on Thursday in River States Conference play.
Five Eagles finished in double figures scoring as AU rolled to its 10
th road win of the year.

Asbury wins its third straight game and improves to 19-10 on the year. The Eagles also pickup another important conference win to move to 7-8 in the RSC standings.
Highlights
*A strong start in the first quarter pushed AU ahead 24-16.
Sarah King and
Zaria Napier carried the scoring load for the Eagles with 18 points apiece.
*AU extended their lead out to double digits in the second frame and following a
Kelsey Johnson three took a 32-19 advantage.
*The Eagles led by as much as 18 at 37-19, but ALC stormed back with a 15-2 run to make it a 39-34 game late in the quarter.
*Asbury maintained a 45-41 edge at the break.
*The Eagles regrouped in the third and
Amie Conley reached double figures in the third period with 13 points, which pushed AU's lead out to nine points late in the quarter after a three-point field goal.

Sarah King gave AU a comfortable 72-59 lead. AU led 76-65 heading into the 4
th.
*Asbury never gave up the lead in the fourth and led by double figures for a majority of the quarter.
Key Stats

Zaria Napier led AU in scoring with 21 points and also brought in eight rebounds.
*Conley and King each tabbed 19 points, while
Autumn Herriford scored in double figures with 17 points. Herriford finished with eight rebounds and Conley recorded seven.

Jaclynn Ruble who led all scorers on Tuesday night against Midway, completed Thursday's game with 11 points.
*Asbury scored 32 points in the paint and 19 points off turnovers.
*AU forced 15 turnovers and scored 14 second-chance points.
