Women's Basketball Falls at Taylor

UPLAND, Ind. – The Asbury University women's basketball team fell 99-65 at Taylor in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

It was a long afternoon for the Eagles as they faced a hot-shooting Taylor team on the road.

With the loss, AU slips to 1-2 on the year, while the Trojans move to 3-1.

Key Stats
*Taylor used their size to dominate the glass as they owned the rebounding margin 63-34.Additionally, TU finished with 42 points scored inside the paint.
*The Trojans also shot the ball well from beyond the arc, hitting 16 threes on the afternoon.
*The Eagles were led by Autumn Herriford, who finished with 11 points, five rebounds, two blocks, and a steal.
*Zaria Napier collected eight points, six boards, and six steals.
*Paige Taylor scored a season-high nine points off the bench, while Faith Osborne recorded eight points.

*The largest lead of the afternoon for the Trojans was 35 points at 97-62 late in the final quarter of play.
