WILMORE, Ky. -- The Asbury University men's soccer team defeated WVU Tech 1-0 in overtime on Thursday evening at home as the Eagles opened up River States Conference play.
The game was tabbed as senior night for the Eagles, who recognized eight seniors before the contest.
AU improves to 2-0 on the year with the victory and begins conference play with a 1-0 record.
Sam Henderson scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lead AU to victory on a goal scored inside the box.
