MIDDLETOWN, Ohio -- Asbury University freshman Trevor Campbell has been named River States Conference (RSC) Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Campbell was effective all week offensively as he recorded 11 hits in four games, including a homerun and four RBI.

The Louisville, Ky. native batted an astonishing .579 from the plate last week with a slugging percentage of .737.

He also scored seven runs throughout the week.

For the season, Campbell leads Asbury with a team-high .416 batting average. Campbell has produced 32 hits and scored 27 runs this year.

Additionally, Campbell has four doubles, two triples, two homeruns, and 17 RBI with a slugging percentage of .597.

AU is back in action tomorrow at home at 7 PM against Kentucky Christian.
